Meeting Week 8 - 14th November

Meeting week 8 - Everyone present.

We decided to split into groups to work on separate elements of the project. We decided that we spend too much time talking about ideas, and not enough time being productive with our time.

Amy and I (Elizabeth), created the plan for our storyboard - incorporating a theatrical element to the design.
As algae in their simplest form are unicellular organisms - we decided that there would be an evolutionary theme to the project, being that we stem from simple unicellular structures.

We decided in the end that we will be algae aliens, who want to reintegrate with earth - and establish our algae in an experiment at Barking Riverside.

This week if you could work on things on the to-do list - which I will upload onto here as well. Also, research algae and how it can be used on our site - so that algae is the main element behind our design - utilising it in all of its forms.

Next week, we will be working on the topographic model and starting to build a base.

If everyone can finish their urban theory drawings then we can apply this to our masterplan.

Toby and Irini worked on survey information.
Janelle and Simon worked on looking at the Thames and how to increase the amount of water going into the site.

Amy and I also started thinking more about the concept diagram and have ideas to create a gif - demonstrate 5 key zones related to cells - this needs to be expanded upon.
